Our Yoga Teachers

Louise O'Connell

Amazed by the benefits of yoga
for a back injury a decade ago, Louise investigated yoga and meditation
practices on three continents. The yoga bug bit and she left corporate life in
Australia in 2013 to teach and study around the world.

Louise is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, with 1200+ hours
trained in yoga therapy, Krishnamacharya classical yoga style, Vinyasa and

"For me, yoga is about focusing on sensations in your
body through movement and breath. This brings awareness of ourselves - and
therefore mindfulness - both on and off the mat. I get such joy from yoga and I
love to share this through teaching others."

Louise offers tailored yoga practices to suit all levels of yogis, with a focus on working with mental and physical injuries.

Her students tell us they particularly enjoy Louise's individual focus on
correct alignment; and her infectious enthusiasm for practicing yoga.

Helena Durda

My yoga journey started in 2013 in Warsaw, Poland. What at the beginning was my escape from a hectic lifestyle soon started playing a big role in my life. In 2015 I quit my job in advertising agency and went to Bali to deepen my knowledge and learn from international teachers. The same year I became certified yoga teacher.

What I love the most about teaching yoga is the ability to share with my students the passion, knowledge and all benefits that I gain thru the practice on the physical and mental level. My aim is to help you to create your own unique experience during yoga class.

I will guide you thru dynamic and sometimes challenging Power Flow classes at Oasis Health Centre.

Cindra Banks


Cindra completed her 200 hour yoga teacher qualification in MEXICO and more recently, her 50 hour Yin teacher training in Canada, and has been literally teaching from the moment she received her certification! 

She was trained in the Vinyasa (flow) style, but enjoys teaching (and practicing) a wide range of styles, combining elements of Yin, Restorative and Iyengar yoga. 

Cindra's aim is to make yoga accessible for all bodies and all levels of experience, incorporating fun and playful aspects to a more traditional practice. 

She LOVES inspiring new and seasoned yogis and enjoys connecting with students through a lighthearted teaching style.

Tracey was drawn to Yoga many years ago, as a natural remedy for dealing 
with her own mobility issues. "Yoga was, and still is, my healer and my 
teacher." It has changed my life in so many ways. 

Tracey completed Level 1 Yoga Teacher training at Living Peace, Toronto and 
has also studied at Mangrove Yoga. 

Tracey is passionate about helping people regain their strength, flexibility 
and balance. 

Yoga is our ticket to living a more independent, healthy and happy life.
