Louise O'Connell

Amazed by the benefits of yoga
for a back injury a decade ago, Louise investigated yoga and meditation
practices on three continents. The yoga bug bit and she left corporate life in
Australia in 2013 to teach and study around the world.

Louise is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, with 1200+ hours
trained in yoga therapy, Krishnamacharya classical yoga style, Vinyasa and

"For me, yoga is about focusing on sensations in your
body through movement and breath. This brings awareness of ourselves - and
therefore mindfulness - both on and off the mat. I get such joy from yoga and I
love to share this through teaching others."

Louise offers tailored yoga practices to suit all levels of yogis, with a focus on working with mental and physical injuries.

Her students tell us they particularly enjoy Louise's individual focus on
correct alignment; and her infectious enthusiasm for practicing yoga.

Helena Durda

My yoga journey started in 2013 in Warsaw, Poland. What at the beginning was my escape from a hectic lifestyle soon started playing a big role in my life. In 2015 I quit my job in advertising agency and went to Bali to deepen my knowledge and learn from international teachers. The same year I became certified yoga teacher.

What I love the most about teaching yoga is the ability to share with my students the passion, knowledge and all benefits that I gain thru the practice on the physical and mental level. My aim is to help you to create your own unique experience during yoga class.

I will guide you thru dynamic and sometimes challenging Power Flow classes at Oasis Health Centre.

Charlotte Alzuro Lopez

Born and raised in Germany, Charlotte always knew she was a traveller at heart. She studied in Berlin and Amsterdam and specialized in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship. After her graduation she booked a one-way flight to Nepal where she started a life-changing trip through Asia that eventually took her to Australia. Trained in Rishikesh, the capital of yoga in India, she gained deeper insights into the art of yoga, anatomy, pranayama and meditation. At Oasis, Charlotte teaches Vinyasa Flow, putting emphasis on releasing tension around the main joints of the body, building strength and detoxing the connective tissues.

Apart from practicing yoga, Charlotte loves road trips and exploring, hiking, surfing and reading books.

Nell Wengert

I became a Hot Yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance Certificate) in Germany after an inspiring 1000km hike in Spain (Camino de Santiago) with my Australian boyfriend. Later I was teaching in my “home studio” in Stuttgart until we decided to move to Australia (North Avoca). Nowadays I am teaching Hot Yoga - Bikram style, PowerYoga / Flow and Yogalates and only love it.

There is always a reason why you begin with the practice – back pain, insomnia, inflexibility, head ache – but there is another reason why you never want to stop doing it. That´s the point when you experience something else than “only” an exercise.

If only a small percentage of students feel the same way as I did after a hot yoga class I would be more than happy. They are not only doing a great thing for themselves and their health but also for their environment- Treating other people the best way they can.
