I'm not sure how or when I discovered yoga or if by chance it in fact discovered me, but what I do know is it has changed my life in so many ways. It truly has made such a positive impact on my mind, body and soul and one that continues to grow with each and every day.
I believe with my regular yoga practice and allowing myself that I deserve this self care - it has allowed me to grow, not only mentally and emotionally, but has also changed me physically as well.
I feel so blessed and grateful to have been given this role as Yoga Manager so I can continue on this journey of self care and share my love of yoga to my fellow yogi's. To me it's not a job it's a passion that has bought me to the beautiful supportive team at OASIS.
My goal is to share my knowledge, nurture and support like minded people to discover the health benefits of yoga and how yoga can have such a positive impact on our daily lives, as it has mine. I'm also very excited about starting my yoga teacher training in 2020 !!!
WARNING - YOGA IS KNOWN TO CAUSE HEALTH AND HAPPINESS !
I look forward to meeting you all, Simone

As soon as I was introduced to yoga, a passion for this art ensued and quickly it became an essential part of daily life, a framework through which to inquire and navigate the world. Since completion of the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) yoga teacher training many years ago, I have been teaching ever since.
I have been fortunate enough to share my love of yoga with a broad scope of students. I enjoy creating a designated sacred space for students to practice, grow, explore, experiment and evolve. This has been a joy and a real privilege.
I was first hooked on yoga well over ten years ago, as the one form of exercise I didn't have to force myself to do. It has since grown into a layered practice of befriending myself and discovering my true nature. Yoga guides me into balance between logic and intuition, my head and my heart. It has taught me how to move through life with more grace and acceptance. I am passionate about how yoga can transform your inner wellbeing and physical health.
My classes are grounded in the breath and mindfulness. I teach with compassion and empathy, giving permission to experience whatever is there in the moment. Sharing yoga with others fills me with joy and I am grateful for every class I teach.
Yoga found Cristina shortly after returning from a trekking adventure to the Annapurna region of Nepal in December 2010.
This adventure sparked a spiritual awakening which blossomed as her Yoga practice unfolded over the following 18mths.
In July 2012, Cristina completed her 200hr Power Yoga training. She began teaching immediately after and consistently thereafter. She has since completed her Level II, 150hr Vinyasa training and her 65hr Yin Yoga training as well as numerous workshops with both International and local teachers who inspire her teaching method.
Cristina also teaches Level I Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and Anti-Gravity Yoga (as taught by Christopher Harrison). She is a qualified BodyART Instructor, a style of movement influenced by the Yin and Yang elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Cristina infuses functional movement concepts within her Power and Vinyasa Yoga sequences to create strong flowing movement patterns, where Yang meets Yin, a mindful balance of effort and ease. She enjoys offering a flowing sequence within her Yin classes where the postures flow smoothly allowing for physical and mental harmony.
Yoga for Cristina means AWARENESS. Awareness of each movement, each thought, each sensation, each breath. These binding elements create Yoga Asana, which then becomes a practice of Mindfulness!!
I look forward to our journey together.
